I was offered a job by Jenny Gorun but steered clear. She had been leaving long, desperate messages on my answering machine trying to get me on the next plane to Turkey. I found her extremely pushy, and this made me suspicious. It was early 2003, the beginning of the war in Iraq, so I used that as my excuse not to come.

Unbeknownst to her, I'd been in communication with one of her teachers. This teacher later told me that she and her husband, as well as the other teachers, hadn't been paid for several months (or had been receiving partial payments). They had recently done a runner before it got to the point of receiving no salary at all!

Of course, this was back in 2003...

Just spoke to a friend.

Apparently the school's Head Teacher, Ms. Jenny Gorun accused his mate of being an Indian refugee with a thick Indian accent.

Looks like this guy had complained in public abt. YC.

Well his colleagues (Eng. Time) staff were all shocked by this post by Ms. Gorun as they knew for a fact it was untrue.

She raved on this forum for about a week until, an ET teacher posted and openly disputed what she said.

She was also asked how a "refugee" without a proper passport and a thick accent was hired by her, seeing that she had done an interview by phone, and that the proper documents would have been had been faxed to her.

She just disappeared. Never bothered to answer.

Apparently Ms. Gorun spends quite a bit of time running after teachers. I've just received some PMs.

So how about Bacesehir College??
