What Did You DO While Dave's Was Offline? |
I kept the nice police busy talking me down from high ledges and tall bridges. |

I don't remember, I had to be sedated. |

I went mouse shopping, the other one exploded after several hours of manic pressing of the refresh button. |

IT'S BACK!!!! Oh thank goodness, just when I was starting to wonder if I would actually have to go out and get a real life. Life makes sense again!
But how did everyone cope?

Hi PT
And while I was standing on the ledge ...
I stumbled onto this interesting little doodad
clicked on it, and discovered all the
juicy webstats for Dave's.
You can go there directly by clicking here:

PS: Do you think your elephants are talking to my elephants ?

Get a life people. C'mon it was only offline for 22 hours and 19 minutes and 29 seconds.
I almost found a vaccine for the bird flu pandemic, but then Dave came back online. That will have to wait until his server is down again. |

It was mid-terms at my school. While Dave's was down I graded all 120 essays and did 200 student evals. Thank God Dave's is back. |

I'm still trying to find the "any" key (old computer joke)
Er, also the 'sedated' part wasn't entirely passive on my part
I was actually interrupted in making an angry, bitter, unmeasured response to an innocent question when Dave's went down, so its probably for the best |

Of course they are, but you should have an easier time understanding what they're saying than I do, they only speak Thai.

Sorry denise, I should have realised that would be a popular option! But when I wrote the poll I was crying with joy so it was kind of hard to see the screen (luckily the plastic covering the keyboard was still in place from where I was sobbing "Why hast thou forsaken me oh Dave's?" over it for the twenty-odd hours preceding that ).
