a lot of love hotels are run by Koreans.

I think the places call attention to themselves with their lights or strange shapes of the buildings.
Not far from where I learn Japanese is a love hotel called the Queen Elizabeth II. WTF?

Love Hotel English is something else.
You can pay to STAY or to REST.

SORRY means no vacancy. PLEASE means vacancy.

No, it was a joke, obviously not a good one. Laughing

Maybe some won't let you stay alone for some reason but Japanese friends advised me that they are the cheapest place to stay and I stayed in one alone. Didn't really know much about them at the time and didn't realize the TV wasn't exactly HBO but spose if it's coin operated...

In Korea I didn't realize at first that I'd booked 5 nights in one(recommended by the LP) until I went to get a video. That one had a key, window-more like a real hotel. Maybe used as both. Are Koreans less perverted about sex???

I think if you want to stay alone in Japan you should wait until after the "rest" period is over. 11ish I was told. After that the philandering husbands and wives or HS/uni kids have gone home to their families. Confused

I know some nicer ones do, but do ALL love hotels have a shower and bathroom like a hotel room would?

The few that I have stayed at had larger bathroom and bathtubes than business hotels. I mean a lot larger. I guess they are for two people while business hotels are for one.
It is amazing how much cheaper love hotels are than even business hotels. As long as you go after 23:00 or 24:00 depending on the hotel.

The ones I stayed at even had free pone and TV.

The few that I've stayed at have had more than just a tub -- it was a jacuzzi tub with porn-TV built into one wall, and ceiling mirrors.

Not that I specifically noticed or anything... Wink

Player nuthin. I'm married. That's good enough excuse to visit a love hotel, isn't it?

Smile

..umm.. perhaps I should have added: "visit a love hotel WITH MY WIFE..." Lest there be any misunderstanding... Embarassed
