I was just wondering where can I find a list of public colleges in Guangzhou? Any list, any websites or anything else of use then I would be interested.

Two lists:
a) The 700-page tome GUIDE TO EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGN CULTURAL EXPERTS... (cost: RMB 380),
b) I compiled a list several years ago (but it's no longer up-to-date although I have kept adding particulars of Guangzhou, Foshan, Nanhai, Shunde and Zhongshan employers).

But generally such lists are not public.

Thanks for the replies. I have another quick question. What are the best websites to look a job in a public middle school/college or university job in Guangzhou? What about recruitment agencies? Any decent ones that specialise in jobs in Guangzhou?

As for websites, enough has been said in the past. Look up the relevant threads!

Agents? Not many are reputable. I worked for a couple of them and won't name them here. Another one that has a solid reputation is ALTEC.

I would warn against cooperating with most.

Finally, there are the dedicated English mags; try the website of That's Guangzhou (it is now in conjunction with asiaexpat).
