I stumbled across a post somewhere where someone mentioned he thought you could do a PGCE in the U.K specialising in TESOL. For the life of me i can't find the post again or a university offering the course.
Does it actually exist and has anyone done it? |

Hi james_tesol
I'm not aware of a specific 'PGCE in TESOL' per se,
but the PGCE in Modern Languages is very common,
and many of these also contain TESOL course content.
The 2 links below provide a decent overview.
The TDA website also allows you to search
available courses & locations in the UK:
http://www.tda.gov.uk/Home/Recruit/thetrainingprocess/typesofcourse/pgce.aspx (TDA UK)
http://www.gttr.ac.uk/ (GTTR / Graduate Teacher Training Registry / contains a PGCE FAQ) |
