Hey Guy, you think you have it bad with the mangling of your name...

A friend of mine worked in a primary school where one of the pupil's was named Guy -his parents had seen it on some film credits and decided they liked it. Only problem was they had no idea how to say it, and so for the first five years of his life he was known as gooey. The parents were a little confused when told of their mistake - but not as confused as young gooey who had to learn a whole new name!

That was the saddest thing - they did! They thought the name suited him because he was what you might call a cuddly chap!
