You don't get what I mean? Colombian women, Brazilian women, Spanish women, and many others I've always heard are so beautiful. Now, of course, beautiful women can be found anywhere in the world. I just haven't heard Mexican women spoken of in the same way. I haven't heard much about them at all. I'm trying to make this sound as legitimate a question as possible. Anyone get it? |

I got exactly what you meant and that was my response=ask a stupid question Why don't you try a dating forum, this is hardly the place for such a question.

How is it a stupid question? In considering to live in another country, of course I'll be thinking about what the women are like. I am a straight guy. I'd be surprised if anyone didn't think about this. So I asked it. So what? Anyone who has no experience with another culture wonders about it. I thought that this was a place where experienced travelers and expats could share their impressions of the other world they're in with people who have no experience whatsoever. Seriously, if you don't care a well-articulated post, then just don't respond at all. |

Go over to the General Latin America forum. There's a thread running there on Love and Relationships. Not a stupid question at all, though we are in a teaching job forum.
I think all women from everywhere are beautiful. Breaking it down by country is too difficult and highly subjective. |

Love them, but one in particular.
And, I for one, believe this is the right forum. Keeping up with my wife is definitely work. |

Guy's right; beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. And who would object to beholding Salma Hayek? |

I think PT raised a good point. Sure, of course it's important to know what the possibilities might be for romance - along with a dozen other factors. But as PT pointed out, you haven't asked about anything else BUT "How are" the women in Mexico.
What, no questions about the schools, the pay, the students, or the culture? I think PT can be forgiven for thinking that your original post was a tad, shall we say, narrowly focused? |

Check out a previous posting I had put up called "Towns in Mexico?" And I think that I wrote the posting well enough and clear enough that I shouldn't have come across some hound. It was what was on my mind at the moment and I figured, why not ask? Sure, I've read tons of postings and thought about the innumerable other things. Come on, give people some credit. You think that someone would go through the hassle of discovering the site and registering if only to ask that one question? You think the person that joined a site about teaching in Mexico isn't serious about teaching in Mexico? Hmmm? |

I need to articulate more clearly? You need to buy a dictionary and maybe take some English lessons.

What are you looking for with this question, a score out of ten? A list of their attributes? A point by point comparison with other Latino women?

EXACTLY.

You don't say...

You'd be surprised...on the other hand maybe you wouldn't.
ls650 and I weren't commenting on your other post, just this one. At the end of the day, 'how' the women are in Mexico isn't going to affect your decision about teaching in there...If you answer that it does, then I stand by my original opinion. Actually I stand by it either way.

FoxandMe, your question is not stupid. This forum can be a frustrating place. You just want some help and friendly advice, and you receive sarcasm or scorn.
Welcome to Dave's. |

I hardly think that asking, 'How are the women in Mexico?' qualifies as seeking help or friendly advice.
