Did anyone else catch this goal last night that won the rangers the game?

Not teaching related but I think I think you stressed out foreigners will enjoy this.

Yeah it looked pretty, but this hockey fanatic right here despises the addition of the shootout format.

If you're a hockey fan Synne, come see us in the China Off-topic thread on Hockey.

Forget shootouts, don't any of you remember Jason Spezza's unbelievable OT goal that put away the Canadiens last month?

Now THAT is a highlight reel goal!

by the way....the SENS are now 18-3....a SICK record!

Cool yes. yes it is.

How nice that you get to see the goals. I'm left to my imagination on the write-up and Don Cherry rants.

I do get to download Cherry on Saturday nights and some highlight reels here and there. Best site I found is for video logs of NHL boxing.

Me, too. Mine is wrapped in cellophane and somewhere tucked away in my folks closet. Any idea how much they are going for nowadays? Or, even better, does anyone know where I can find a listing of on-line hockey card dealers just to take a look at some of those cards that I haven't peeked at in years.

I think it is about $500 for a good/excellent conditioned one. Try looking at ebay, but I think the prices are lower than other places.

Damn, really? My mom threw out all my cards when I moved out of the house well over a decade ago. Don't think there was a Gretzky rookie in there, but I might have had a Messier and a Brett Hull.

That Gretzky card was worth over 600 CDN last time I looked...many years ago. Hold onto to em!

The Hockey Night in Canada theme song...practically our second national anthem. Very Happy

Howdy fellow hockey-hungry transplanted Canadians. Check this site out. Bittorrent downloads of lots and lots of full NHL games. The Canucks, Oilers, Leafs and Penguins (including Sidney Crosby of course) are especially well taken care of, but no matter who your team is there will be a few games up from them.

You too can see the goals!

www.ottawasenators.com !!

or www.nhl.com !!

HIGHLIGHTS!!!! They leave me imagining what it would feel like to truly experience a Daniel Alfredsson breakway goal or a Jason Spezza toe-drag backhand-forehand-backhand goal or a Dominik Hasek sensational save !!
