When peer observing, I used to take personal notes on procedure, classroom management, instructions, feedback, etc. I now observe lessons with a different purpose and give feedback at the end, but my notes are pretty much along the same lines. I also need to see a detailed lesson plan.
Schools with a well organised educational system will provide teachers with "forms with boxes", and require them to observe each other for certain aspects (e.g. just for monitoring). |
