Hello to everyone who has been so kind to post their input! I'm glad to hear that many of you who have decided to keep your pet were happy to have in the long run. I kind of expected all kinds of horror stories. I just keep envisioning an evil roommate who "accidentally" lets the cat out in China or something awful. Of course, this is because I have no experience with any of this. I posted an ad in my local paper for Tribble (aka Puppin) but I think if I don't find a family that just knocks my socks off I will be bringing him with me abroad. So far no one has been quite right and ever since I have been thinking about letting him go he has become significantly more affectionate. I think he may be telling me that he does indeed want to come in that big flying bird with me...he loves birds after all!
Anyway, thanks again. Its good to know that it isn't crazy. Now I just need to do some soul searching. Wink
Anyone ever tried bringing a cat to Vietnam?
