|
|
I went to the AEON group interview today and was invited back for a private interview tomorrow. I understand it's roughly 2 hours long, including a 10 minute teaching demonstration. What sort of questions am I in for here? An hour and 50 minutes is a LONG time to fill with personal questions.
Thanks |

I thought mine went extremely well. Did you have yours in Toronto? We might have been in the same group interview. |

Lemme know if u get an offer. I'll have to wait a while I think cuz I'm holding out for a Tokyo position, of which there are none at the moment...

Oh ok...I figured it was you. You did a good job with your demo. No problems about Union station...after I walked about 10 steps it dawned on me that it was near the Skydome (duh!). BTW, did any of the interviewers happen to mention how many positions were popping up in the near future? |

hmm no they didn't mention anything about the # of openings... they mentioned that there was one Osaka opening for November-ish, and others were sorta in-between Nagoya and Tokyo areas i think... nothing right in any of the major urban centres other than the Osaka one (at least that's what I gathered, but they weren't really specific about anything). where are u hoping to go? |

oh ic... i'd like to avoid the Canadian-like winters as best I can, so I never really considered anywhere up the north end. Yeah if only Aeon could place people a bit faster, that would be nice. Did Nova say they'd send to to Sapporo in early Oct? Usually they don't guarantee any preferred placement... |

There were no guarantees, but he said several jobs are opening up there. He said it's very likely I'd be placed there. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen |

That's great news... congrats! My experience with them was favourable, the recruiting staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. I'd even consider re-applying with them if I don't manage to get another offer in the near future.
Congratulations again... hope u enjoy Sapporo! |
