I got an offer from LEC in Shanghai through "Mark Krantz."
Has anybody worked with him before? Or with LEC in Shanghai? Opinions?
Seems like a good offer. |

Haha. Yeah, I was expecting that. But really I just wanted to know about the credibility.
But here goes,
General Staff Position with potential to go to Staff Instructor after 3 months probation.
140RMB an hour
15-20 hours Depending on how many I want. More if I want
Evenings and weekends. That sounds like the only real downside.
Possibility of multiple schools, but I guess they are all off the sublway line so it's not so bad.
They'll get me the Foreign Experts Certificate even with me coming on a Tourist Visa. (Which would lead to the Work Visa.)
Teach a range of ages from 6 to Adult, so it would be a mix of class types. This could be a good thing because it would give me flexibility.
Training
They would also present me with different schedules that I could reject until I was offered one I like.
That's the basics of it. |

Nver heard of the school and i can't find it in some of the other sites either. The offer is not bad if accommodations are included. |

It's not, but I already have a place to live. (friends)
They have actually heard of "Learning Education Center" or LEC and have said they are a pretty reliable group. I didn't see anything about them on englishschoolwatch.com either so that has to be a good thing. |

I haven't really worked with them so I wouldn't be able to comment much except that they were looking for somebody in Shanghai itself.
They don't provide accommodation and airfare.I didn't thought that was good offer for living and working in Shanghai. But that's only ME. |

Well seeing as how I was planning on coming anyways and that I already have a place to stay, the airfare and accomodation weren't my first concerns. |
