I'm leaving for home at the end of January. I'll have worked for six months. The boss man pays me in cash. Can I fade away without paying tax?

...or cash that was declared to the gov?

Did you receive any receipts or pay stubs?

I would imagine that your employer has already deducted tax from your earnings. And because you have lived here less than a year you don't have to pay any city tax. In fact, they may owe you.
