"nacoa term that covers everything from guys draped in gold chains to people who dance funny. Some Mexicans still find the word offensive. It was initially a derogatory term used to insult indigenous people and the poor. But for many, 'naco' has morphed into a term that represents personal styleor lack thereofrather than class or wealth"

Another reason to stick with Food Spanish so no one gets offended. Now I'm going to see a bunch of Argentinian pendejos. Rolling Eyes Laughing Laughing Laughing

Its snowing Evil or Very Mad Worse part is that a light snowfall in the morning was followed by a sudden thundersnow! Sad Nearly a foot fell in a couple of hours. Snowplows couldn't get through Friday afternoon traffic, and cars parked on the street were plowed in. Does it make you homesick for the Great White North, Guy? Wink

I'm going to Vancouver to visit my folks. 7 hours in the air, 7 hours standing in airport lineups, +4 Celsius, holiday shoppers, Canadian prices, blehhh.... Sad

Sorry Dragonlady, but that aint gonna happen. The internet might break if a piccy of me went up there!

However, and this is the last post I'm going to make before getting some serious R & R, I will return to Mexico City around the 5th of January, or whatever the date of the weekend closest to Reyes is. We could have another get together then, and Guy could take lots of photos of everyone except me!

How's that sound?

Stop talking to me! I'm on holidays!!

Ok, so I looked at my calendar, I'm hitting DF again on the Saturday (7th). Let's go to Xochimilco on Sunday!?! Yes, I'll drive the camera. Having been a photographer since about the age of 8, I think I can manage that, and it definitely makes me feel more comfortable.

Now, go away!!! Laughing
