				| I've tried banana pancakes, teaching them how to play chess, one game I call "robot" where one student can only do exactly what the class tells them-- take two steps forward, turn right, etc. --I usually blindfold them so they don't know what the should be doing, they can only rely on the class, big laughs when you send a blindfolded kid stumbling into the wc.  Also have been doing fieldtrips to McDonald's, the coke factory, etc. Being outside of the class is a great way to start a conversation afterward since they all have a shared experience.
