Does anybody have any information or thoughts on Zhong Li in northern Taiwain?

more frequently spelled "chungli" or "jungli". industrial town that has seen many factories relocate to china. not a pretty place. lotsa english teaching jobs frequently open. in taoyuan county, the "second" city of the county after taoyuan city. good train service, near airport, cops leave well enough alone.

Actually, I spell 中壢 as Zhongli because I, like the OP, am using the most widely used hanyu pinyin system to romanize Chinese. It's all a matter of what system you are using. Taiwan can't make up it's mind and uses a mish-mash of romanization systems, but most use the world standard.
