If they're not asking for crazy hours (I wouldn't work more than 25 in class teaching hours/week, remember you have to grade papers (for writing classes) and prepare for class), I'd jump on the offer. 7700 is plenty to live on, and you can always supplement your income with some private tutoring the side if you need the extra money.

No no, the 7700 has the housing included in it (2000). The sessions are 21 a week at 45 minute sessions. I can choose what level to teach. Grade, High School, adult. It's through "Beyond Borders." |

Hope you can find some secondary work too. You'll find that housing stipend isn't that grand in Shanghai. It's a lot easier to blow money in that city as well if you aren't the frugal type. Best luck! |
