Don't know about the nano, but I bought my shuffle from Yamada because they seemed to have the lowest price by at least a couple thousand yen for some reason. Not to mention the fact that I tend to accumulate a LOT of points on my Yamada card. I've gotten some SWEET deals on things because of that.

Yamada, Bic, or Yodobashi. Also, 7-11 (いい気分).

I don't think you're going to get a discount anywhere. It's too popular. I agree that the best bet is to go somewhere that has a point card.

I'm completely addicted to my nano. The only thing is that the battery life doesn't seem to be anywhere near the 14 or 16 hours that they claim. It's good enough though.

Get the 4GB. Only 5,000 more and double the capacity.

Tell them you want to use your points this time. "Kyou, pointo o tsukaimasu."

If possible go to the Apple store and get the Education discount (7%) and compare it to the price at Yamada
