Language Solutions, aka Academy of Corporate and Industrial Training, is advertising on tefl.com
The package seems quite good, 2100 a month (approx $3,600 or SR13,500), annual accommodation allowance of 2,000 which seems low, cash for an airticket and multi entry exit visa.
The downside would be living and working in Jubail Town as opposed to the nicer Industrial area part.
The company isn't asking for a degree, just a teaching qualification and a few years experience.
They seem to be aimimg for the SABIC training contracts like JIC and all the other language centres in Jubail.
It could be a good place for a year to build up some capital. |

A few questions for Language Solutions:
Why is there no travel allowance when it is pretty standard? There is no public transport to speak of in Jubail.
Why is the accomodation allowance so pitiful? For 2000 pounds you could get a flat but not in the industrial/Royal Comission and it would be unfurnished. Who would pay deposits, temporary accomodation etc? What about the security implications of westerners living with no security?
Multi visas-are they guaranteed and who is paying and organising them?
In the ad it says 90 mins to Bahrain-only if you leave in the small hours and have a lot of luck at the causeway. 2-3 hours more likely and you need your own car.
The senior training consultant is a TEFL teacher who used to run the tiny Baku operations.
The ad says a job for your wife. Ludicrous unless your wife is a doctor, nurse or other medical professional. TEFL opportunities for wives in Jubail-forget it.
The guff in the ad about Jubail being so great is worthless to a teacher in Jubail. |
