Now.... strictly these links don't specifically, nor exclusively refer to the Middle East...but I couldn't help sharing them , cos I am certain you M.E. long termers have experienced the same ! Indulge me -- it's the New Year.

Who amongst us hasn't experienced what this blogger has been through, and wondered why we do this job?

The one about students asking about song lyrics was ohhh so familiar....

Even funnier is what some of the better students come up with that they 'think' was said... (of course I've run into that problem with native speakers too...)
