Just wanted to check, in case things have changed recently, to see if anyone in KSA knows of institutions that would hire a person 58, going on 59.
I notice that the JIC has now lowered their limit to 53. KFUPM and BAE won't hire anyone over 55.
Do you know of any places that would hire "the aged" like me? |

Kfupm sometimes hire people of your age. Apply to
[email protected]
TINS in Dammam do too. I do not have contact details for them. |

Saudi Arabia is much more friendly employment environment for 'older' people than most countries. There are quite a few people your age or older in the institution where I work. That said, you are right in saying that some places don't accept people above the age of 55, or thereabouts. |

If you are willing to work at some of the smaller, out-of-the-way universities such as those in Abha or Jauf, they sometimes take a more liberal view of the regulations, or so Methusula has told me. |
