I've read about the availability of teaching jobs here in the states and it doesn't sound great. What about other fields of employment, though? What kind of industry looks for people with our experience and strengths besides our general adaptability? I'm thinking about the Travel & Tourism industry. Or how about the certification schools? Don't they want recruiters or representatives of some kind? There's gotta be another field where our experience would be useful. |

It depends. If you have a lot of experience, you might be able to get into educational publishing. I know of one woman who did that. She makes great money in the USA (about $90,000 per year) but she works like a dog to get it.
No thanks... |

I live in Southern California and there is a great need for teachers here. If you look online for jobs, you would find a variety of fields hiring in various states nationwide. Personally, I use WWW.CRAIGSLIST.COM and WWW.POSTMEUP.COM because those sites don't have those annoying pop up ads like monster does. Good luck! |
