I am wondering how long it takes to send money home by wiring it. I tried to send money home Friday and I put some information in the wrong places so I want to see if it goes through right.
I am also wondering if the form isn't filled out 100 percent correctly will it still be sent to your bank. All the information is there just some not in the right places. It was tough trying to do this in Chinese.
Thanks,

Dear Argonfly,
I've used Taiwan Businesss Bank to send money to my Bank Of America account.
It usually shows up within 3 business days.
Best wishes.

| Sending money home via wire transfer can be expensive. Why not try opening a regular bank account and send someone that you trust an ATM card? It works for some, but not all people I've advised to do this. |

The price is actaully quite reasonable at Land Bank. But my main question is that I screwed up some information and put it in the wrong places on the sheet however I got the swift code in the right place which I hope will all I need. The bank name and address is also on it so hopefully I will see in a few days.
I am hoping that it will go to the right place I am wondering if anyone else has been in this situation. |

| When I did it it took two days - I'm sure I didn't put all the right info in the right boxes either but as long as they've got the account number and name and address of the bank you should be ok. |

Hey,
For anyone wondering the money went through.
If you are sending money home I used Land Bank. I was charged around 300NTD here and then about 690NTD back home. So all in all about 1000NTD.
Take Care,
