| Aw c'mon. Zipolite isn't like that at all. Most of the folks there are just catching some rays (with swimsuit on) and relaxing. A few people puff and a few people shed their clothes. Big deal. |

Yeah it's pretty laid back. There isn't that kind of insane violence that you see with the drug trade in most areas. I think they all work it out amongst themselves, and I think that the police are more like regulators, they take there cut and ensure that things don't get out of hand.
Last year a local narco built a huge mansion a stones throw from my house that would make Tony Montana proud. He's just a local kid, mid twenties, who seems to be doing well in the trade.
But really, Zipolite isn't just about the drugs. It's a nice inexpensive place where you can chill out and people will let you do as you wish.
Did y'all know that Tom Cruise and Nicole, Brad Pitt and Jennifer, Leonardo Decaprio, Ricky Martin, Antonio Banderas(who played guitar with the band at a local dive one night) amongst many others, have all stopped by over the years. In Zipol no one cares who you are or what you do, in fact I think locals would make a special effort to not pay any extra attention to famous people. As one of the most used phrases goes 'me vale madre guey' |

| I left out a letter. Big deal. I still think it is funnier to think about buying furniture over the net. Anyone that has more than a few days here and half a brain knows that is a losing prospect. Any other stupid questions? Would you like to buy a Rolex? Maybe some gold coins? |
Not true. About the losing prospect, I mean. We are shoppers on Mercadolibre, the Ebay of Latin America. Everything arrives, and promptly. Same as Ebay up north. Some sellers even pay the shipping. Also, we have ordered furniture from Tonala which is 8 hours from us, and the truck brings it to the door.

Oh yeah I have a few more questions for cwc, since he insists:
1. Have you considered a career in comedy?
2. Was it comic genius which induced you to call me MikeyGay in your most recent, unanswered private message?
3. Are you as angry, impatient and bigotted with your students when they ask stupid questions?
4. When will you leave me alone? |
