hey guys. i'll be in HCMC on the 14 of february. i found a couple schools already that I can look up but does anyone know any specific schools in district 1 where i can teach at? I have a degree but no teaching certificate and plenty of experience.
thanks guys
ps, i'll be pretty much left alone for about a week while i'm there so if anyone wants to show me the ropes in HCMC, that would be kool too. |

Don't just restrict your search to Disctrict 1 as this will severely limit your options.
A list of schools can be found here:

I wouldn't take too much notice of some of the comments, however. Suggest you make up your own mind.
Good luck. |

There are loads of schools around District 1 and 3, in fact all over the place crying out for teachers. For the first 6 months you will be subjected to 25% tax.
Find out about the work permit to avoid a wasted journey. Hanoi might be a better place at the moment.

You need both a degree and teaching certificate, an extra 500 USD and persistance in getting a work permit. |
