Does anyone know of a website that has some Andrew Wright pictures on it?

Google Images has ten pages of pictures of Andrew White. Which Andrew White are you talking about? Check it out.

Cobra,
You have a strange version of the "Serenity Prayer".
The one I know is

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE, THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN, AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

I appreciate and respect that you are a conformist who wishes everyuthing to be black or white, round ro square.

I am individualistic. I am unable to locate any authority that prohibits me from being creative or adopting my own version.

Frankly I like mine much better because it is mine. It is also shorter and easier to type.

Further, this is really off topic AND YOU SHOULD APOLOGISE TO THE ORIGINATOR OF THIS THREAD!

But hey dude, you are cool anyway.

And lastly, you are entitled to your senility prayer but mine is all about POWER trip!

I have to agree with Scot. For those of us who know and even say the Serenity Prayer, your "version" is off-putting. It is a prayer, you know - just like the Lord's Prayer. Your version bastardizes the meaning - its like hearing a favorite song sung off key with made up words. Don't be a Vanilla Ice Shocked and tell us its your original deal.

I apologize if coming off overly serious, but the prayer does carry meaning in some of our lives.

Other than that, I actually DO enjoy reading many of the posts I've seen from you. Cool

Sounds very legalistic to me. Even the Lord's prayer is not written in stone. It is a methodology, not a prescription.

But pray away and do it your way. Frank loves ya!

No, no. Andrew Wright. The guy who wrote 1,000 pictures for teachers to copy.
What prayer stuff are you talking about? I'm confused.

Ask Cobra. He was the one who posted as part of his reply to you an altered version of the Serenity Prayer. He has now edited it out, after I posted the more orthodox version.

It is strange that you never knoiw what is going to happen to your thread !

Scot it was in the signature bar. It was a parody. They are Constitutionally protected you know. Free speech and all. But you guys could noty take it so I changed it under peer pressure. Now you are complaining that I changed it. Are you really a woman?

I was merely clarifying something. Anyone seeing this thread AFTER your changes must be mystified.

As to your rights under the US Constitution I would not dream of attempting to take them away from you.

As to my gender, what is that to you ?

Love that book... if only for its hilarious interpretations of some words.

My personal favourite is, 'alive', which features a stick man on a stretcher with a speech bubble above his head that reads, 'Am I alive? I must be!'

Tippexing out the words and getting the students to interpret the pictures is quite fun on a slow Monday.
