Many of you old China hands are well aware of the problems teaching English in China. There are many excellent opinions expressed here from time to time.

Most of you are under the impression that you can not make any real contribution to change anything in China so you settle for posting here which is like preaching to the choir.

You believe, incorrectly, that you must have a Ph.D. and be an academic to write a publishable article.

You can write about school management problems, pedogogy problems, disciplin problems, methodology, etc.

You can write from personal experience.

If you would be willing to pick your #1 gripe and write a max. 1,000 word article, I will take the ten best articles and put them together with an introduction and have them published in a class "A" journal as a chapter.

Want to start off in publishing? This is a great chance.

Email me if you are interested. This is only open to those currently employed teaching English in China. You must be in Country now. You may wish to post your article here first for peer review and that is OK, maybe even beneficial to you.

When you submit your article to me, include a short bio.

If you want to see samples of teacher written articles, check out www.teachersgazette

The compiled articles will also be translated into Mandarin and submitted to the Minister of Education.

Having a published article can also give you a career boost!

Aaron,
in what capacity are you collecting contributions?
I hope you are not personally connected to the PSB.

And, is your collection of articles going to be published in China or outside?

Very interested!
