Has anyone lived in the city of Anyang, Henan Province?
I would like any info on the city you can offer.
Particularly interested in cost of living, culture and things to do. |

its north of zhengzhou where i work. dont know much about it but i would have to guess that there's less to do there than in zhengzhou, and in zhengzhou its not hard to spend little, so cost of living is low i must surmise.....
in zhengzhou i probably come across a foreign face about once every week or so..... so in anyang you likely wont find many fellow foreigners. cant help you out any further tho....

Notbeen there but have heard enough to have formed my opinion of this place as a dump.
The whole region there is in the doldrums - SOE's faltering and no, or too few businesses absorbing the workers hired during Mao's rule.
IT's also known as 'the rust belt of China'. |
