(Yes, I am avoiding planning my lessons this morning...)

EDITED FEB 11.

1.If you are a man, dress like a woman and go to your lessons. Tell the students you are comfortable that way and suggest to your male students that they try it.

2.Burst into your bosss office while he is in an important meeting . Shout and scream that hes a blooming bleeding liar.

3. Strip naked to illustrate a body parts lesson.

4.Hand out your card to your students which advertises your private lessons. Offer special discounts for students who have lessons with you instead of coming to the dershane.

5.Insist on debating Atatrks accomplishments in your higher level lessons. You play devils advocate.

6.Devise a humourous present perfect lesson using an imagined conversation between the President and Apo, the captured leader of the PKK.

7. Look at your watch every three minutes and sigh often.

8. Start a fist fight in your classroom.

9.Do things people normally do alone in your flat with the curtains open. Allow an audience to gather on a nearby balcony.

10.Inform your students that grammar isnt very important and, hey, you can talk right gud and doesnt know any grammar sew they doesnt need two study any.

11. If a student's pron is off even a little, hit them on the head with a rolled up newspaper and scream "WRONG WRONG! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE?!"

12.Go to the teacher trainer and ask for help with your lesson planning.

13.Drink and eat loudly in front of your adult students during Ramazan and ask them just how hard it is to fast.

14.Phone in sick, repeatedly, so you can go to the British Council Library and study for your DIP.

15. Tell Ahmet, who sits in the corner, that he smells bad and you can't take it anymore.

ANYMORE?? or ANY BETTER?

16. Talk to yourself a lot and twitch.

I once drew a camel on the board and called it Mustafa, but I managed to wipe it off before anyone realised what I'd done.

Nah, the teacher usually ends up marrying the student. You can't get fired for getting married.

Just be rational and candid, and take them at their (published) words.
(for example, Bogazici U's Code of Ethics).

These hyper-sensitive, sentimentalist, tribalist Turks will feel so threatened by your operating on a higher plane, by your failure to worship their most important cultural value/idol (don't rock the insecure emotional boat) that they will sack you asap, rather than face their hypocrisy and self-delusion.

Oh, to see the day when Turks' words can be trusted...

Does anyone know a good employment discrimination lawyer or a good person at YK and or in the media who mıght want to help EDUCATE these "educators", for the future progress of Turkey?

Maybe the European Court of Justice?

for better,
