Hi! I'm off this week...taking the plunge with a destination of Krakow. Been scanning the sights for hostels, cheap places and wondered if anyone had any to recommend. Plan to hit the pavement with resumes looking for a teaching contract. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! |

Hi
I wouldn't say it's the cheapest hostel in Krakow, but when I arrived last September, I stayed at The Stranger Hostel (http://www.thestrangerhostel.com/?city=krakow) in Ulica Kochanowskiego. Only 5 mins from the centre and very relaxed and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Powadzenie! (Good luck!) |

THanks for the tip! It's the only one I've received so far from several sources. I'm not necessarily interested in the cheapest, I just don't want a bar/club in the basement! The internet sites rate them too I guess. I leave Wed 15th! Can't wait to get there! |

I stayed at this one a few years back and it was quite good.

They're reasonable too. Plus have Internet from what I recall.
And it's very central.
Best of luck!
