If you had to choose one country to live in for the next ten years, which country would it be? |

Steiner you have gone off the deep end.
Nauru is a small Pacific island in the North Pacific with a moonscape due to all of the phosphate mining. Phosphate dust is everywhere. When you put your meal on the table it is seasoned with phosphate within seconds.
The island has one 7 mile ring road around its perimiter. This is one desolate island brother.
However, the people drink fosters instead of water because there is no water. It never rains. There is no salt water desalinization.
Maybe it would be right for you? |

Ten years!? What a sentence, CG!
OK-----: Luxembourg. It's close to Paris, London, Brussels and my maiden aunt in Oberpfaffenhaffen, Bavaria. The tax laws are favourable and the sauerkraut delicious. The beer is superb. Oh, I'm sorry, you don't drink, do you? I was going to ask you to come along. |

Snakey--yes, I know. My previous post was an attempt at droll, dry humor. But the forum thanks you for your explanation.
I'm one of the three or so non-drinkers on the forum, by the way.
Have you been to Nauru? |

You have misread my posts, K. I said I only drink occasionally, and not to the point of getting obliterated and suffering the next day. I don't mind having a social drink or two when the opportunity presents itself. So...when do we leave? |

Hey, it's Ricky! Didn't think I'd see another TPB fan on here. What part of Canada are you from, Canuck2112? |

I KNEW someone here would recognize Ricky!! I guess they film that show in Nova Scotia, so perhaps you've been unfortunate enough to run into a few Rickys and Bubbles in your travels. A friend of mine from Halifax told me that, in many parts of N.S., that show isn't a far stretch from the truth.
I'm from SW Ontario...we have our trailer park boys too but they're a bit less beligerant |
