What does everyone think about online TEFL courses?

How likely would it be for someone to get a GOOD job in Costa Rica or Mexico with an online TEFL certificate, a degree in English, teaching experience and some Spanish?

Also, has anyone taken an online course and had luck with finding work in those places?

Any feedback would be excellent. Thanks!
