Hmmmmmmmmm........I worked in Spain for over a year, and before leaving, I opted to do a summer day camp in the north of Spain. The language school was based out of Bilbao and the people who ran it were lovely, however (big "however"), it was tiring work, and the kids were quite bratty. I have taught primary for 6 years, and this was the greatest challenge of them all. I think the school was called "International Centre" and Puri (as in "Purificacion") was the women who hired me. I believe Rebecca Place was another woman I spoke to before working there. It was only a month-long course. They set up the accommodation in a small called Zumaia (stunningly beautiful). We had to pay rent, and there were 5 teachers, sharing 3 rooms-that was unideal, but the flat was nice. Hope that's helpful. It was hard work-that's for sure! |
