No such list exists to my knowledge. The best research you can do regarding a potential employer is to ask to speak to current employees. If any school refuses this request it's probably best to avoid it. The problem often with sites like this is that anyone can post anything with or without direct knowledge or experience without accountability.

Like Homer said, the internet can be a dangerous tool because any joe schmoe can write about something without knowing anything about the topic.

Whatever happened to the gray list on Geocities? A bunch of years ago a scam school was threatening to sue him and I don't if he dismantled his site or Geocities took it away or what. Anyone?

There is a new grey/blacklist operating, just follow the link in my signature. It was put it up as a place for teachers to vent so it might be a place you could check out.

Do you mean ScumBags in Japan?

Got busted for defamation or libel or something. Owner was a small time hood as well as running the site.

The General Union website has a blacklist of documented labour law violators.

http://www.generalunion.org

Debito Arudou has a blacklist for colleges in Japan at www.debito.org

Former moderator of this forum, Paul H, one of the leading labour educators for EFL, did put together a blacklist for this forum a few months ago, but he was dismissed by ESL Cafe for doing so, and the list, needless to say, does not exists anymore.
