Just to be cheeky, though, I would suggest serving Chop Suey! There's something satisfying about having an American invention by immigrants brought back to the home country. The burrito is my favorite example of this!  |

Diamond Lou? As an Ottawan poutine connoisseur, I've never heard tell of that. My vote goes to the Gilles at the Fritologie 2000 fry shack at the U of O - defintely an authentic French Canadian! |

Diamond Lou was at the corner of Queen and Bank St, though it has been a good number of years since I last sampled his offerings.
There's another decent one at George St, in the market. Can't remember the name.
