| Alex, you have no idea where I worked. I am really somewhat surprised you did not try to tell Scot they pay more in Poland than in Saudi. You seem to think you are an expert on Poland, Czech...why not add Saudi to your list? Never been there?Well, don't let that stop you. Pull out your crystal ball. Just grow up...Alex. |

Lets see bnix, you taught in Sandomierz between 98 and 99 didn't you? In fact you taught at NKJO Sandomierz which can be found at
Ul. Mariacka 1 in Sandomierz. Shame that you didn't know that working at a state run college/university means you don't have to go through the work permit procedure, you believed them when they said you'd have to go back to the USA if you wanted to work for them for a second year!
You seem to have an obsession with telling people here that "a lot" of private schools will rip them off, I wonder why that could be? Is there something you need to tell us about your time in Poland and the school which ripped you off? |

My God,maybe he IS psychic! However, they did not"rip me off" and they are not a private school.I smell the stench of CETP somewhere here.Wonder if "Alex" ever went by a different surname?
Anyway, who cares?Alex, you can be THE Expert on Poland,Czech, wherever you want to... |

I just tripped into this little thread and WOW, what inanity. I thought I would learn a bit about Poland and decide if I wanted to look into going there after I get my EU passport. (long story short: I am going for citizenship in Ireland based on ancestry).... anyway.... where was I? oh yeah:
So, here I am reading this neat historical stuff, when all of a sudden, the feathers start flyin', the words get mean, and the spirit and history I was lured into, was gone in a flash. It's like your own private WWII. However it AIN'T PRIVATE, FOLKS. This is a discussion forum. It is designed (or so I thought) to be enlightening entertaining educational and HELPFUL to each other. Instead, I find it becoming (even in little old Poland's area) a place where people who would never speak to each other in this manner (in person) venting and being rude. Well, yuck! (and shame on you )
Aside from that, both of you seem to know something about Poland. Congratulations!
Now, have a cookie (or ice-cream or whatever sweet tickles your fancy) and LIGHTEN UP.
Peace, Love and Happiness |

Oh, for God's sake Harry....OOOOPS! I mean Alex.... Take a chill pill. I don't know what kind of self-satisfaction you get from belittling people on here. Strange if you ask me.... Maybe all that money you've earned has gone straight to your head?? |

Thanks,Chris.I had a pretty good idea it was Swindells. And he asks ME if I have something to hide.Wonder why he is posting under another name?
This all started because I posted a little innocent post on Poland,(Wolf's Lair)....in which I stated explicitly that I might very well wrong on some of the details. For some reason, that innocent little post set off Alex(or whoever he is) and he posted a snotty retort implying that I thought I was an expert or guru or something, which I never claimed. Is it childish?Sure,it is and I am going to stop my participation in it right now, especially since Chris'post more or less verified what I had been suspecting for some time.Alex (S?) seems to think he has some kind of axe to grind...I have no idea why.
Anyway,it IS childish,so I have other things to do.Let him go write or do whatever it is he does.
Oh by the way,I have NOTHING to hide.Sorry to disappoint you "Alex". And I really do have other things to do...so this is it for this thread as far as I am concerned.
And "Alex",I am generous enough to wish you good luck in your writing career and whatever you choose to do.This kind of thing benefits nobody and just wastes a lot of time.SO...sincere good luck..even though we disagree on some things. |

Honestly Chris I thought you knew better! Harry's a good mate of mine but I'm not him. He's banned remember? (After a certain poster started whining about him to Dave, good work bnix!) I'm meeting him tomorrow, I'll tell him you say hi.
Harry told me about this site and I came to check it out. He was completely right about bnix and his 'knowledge' of Poland. |

How would you know that I should know better? We have never met in person.
Well, I have to say that it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING that you and he have more or less the same experience, mostly in Warsaw, and that you both write for a publication there. Also, you both are so obsessed with being right, and equally obsessed with money. Also, you both have the same "tone of voice". Oh, and you just happened to pop up after Harry was banned from here. It's amazing that there would be two of you in Warsaw...
But I'll most likely be moving to Germany, so you might not see me on here so much anymore. *gasp* But I'm American!!! How can I get a job in the EU?? Very easily it seems.
Sure, say "hi" to Harry for me. Maybe the 3 of us could meet up for a beer before I leave? I know you wouldn't want to come down to Silesia, so I could go up to Warsaw if you like. I would LOVE to meet you both. And honestly, this is not a joke. |

So is Alex Shulgin really Harry Swindells ?
In any case some people need to learn the rules of polite discourse. Should not be so difficult for people who are in the business of teaching LANGUAGE !!!!!! |

Christine and Scot I'm afraid you're both wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is such a person as 'Sasha' Shulgin and I've found him.
A 60's hippy and drug dealer. Odd that he should have ended up as an English teacher in Warsaw. And so capitalist and materialist.
I've even got a picture.

My mentor's name is finally recognised!
I learned from Harry's mistake. It isn't smart to have your real name all over the internet in this game. Harry has a pretty cool boss the school he's at but my boss is a bit uptight. Easier to use a fake name than find a new job! |

Oops! Just saw that bit about drug dealer. Alex actually works for the DEA which is about as far as you can get from being a drug dealer!
