Sadly, I am stuck there often milling about waiting for the next class to begin. Suggestions on good cheap places to grab a bite and pass the time? Maybe do a little people watching? I like Plaza San Martin for a nap, but it can be a long walk up there depending on class location. |

How about Galeras Pacfico, Florida and Cordoba (stylish shopping mall), there is quite a large food patio, with different options to eat. Not too cheap, though. |

Granix is the best food I've had in the area, but the tenedor libre part is a little spendy ($16, I think). The takeout is cheaper, but then you have to find somewhere to eat it... |

my husband has developed a loving relationship with a hot dog stand called Gringo's on Maipu and Lavalle for those between-classes cravings. I don't care for hot dogs, but this place is not too bad. You can pick from tons of toppings and each pancho is 1.40 pesos. He says to try the "Aniversario" one |
