Hi,

I'm a Greek Cypriot currently studying in the UK interested in teaching English in Thailand from September. I've been in Thailand once as a tourist.

-Are there any areas, e.g. in Bangkok I should NOT enter?
-Are prostitutes areas dangerous (so I shouldn't have some...adult fun with these ladies)?
-What should I be aware of in order to not to be 'out of context'? E.g. is there soemthing you would suggest in the case of an interview while job seeking?

Thanks!!!Smile

Thanks for the reply. I just wondered if I should worry about living in a country that is different that what I'm used to so dangers appear in different areas and in different ways, but I guess there is no such issue. Thanks again!Smile

My personal experience has been that Asia - and Thailand - and yes, even Bangkok are much safer than my home town in my home country.

That said, follow Ken's advice above. Just because you are on vacation or new somewhere - don't forget to use your head.

If you get a hankering for some good Greek food while you are there, try:

Been there several times. Will go again.

Real deal.

Είναι αληθινό.
