I have been teaching in a University Korea a few years. I am considering HK. I have permanent residency there, but have nver taught English there. I am 52. I do have an MA TESOL. What I do not have is any sort of Teaching certification granted by a State. Do I have a chance of being on a NET program and will my age be a hindrance?
Can you still get a flat in the NT for 6,000.00???? |

no idea about the NET govt programme but you could try your luck with private schools ...
For one person, yes you could get a flat in NT for 6k, it'd probably be quite nice too |

You might have a chance in the NET scheme. Your age won't be a problem. As a PR of HK you won't be entitled to the special benefits. |
