Hello all,
I will be seeking overseas employment later this year and I am very much unaware of how my hiv + status will affect my visa approvals. Any help and further recommendations for research would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
John |

China and Taiwan require people applying for work visas to undergo health examinations that include blood tests for HIV, so those two countries at least will unfortunately be a bit too problematical for you to work in. |

Such tests are not required in Indonesia, nor in Mexico.
Edit: someone pointed out to me this was my 2000th post. Egads... I guess I need to get a life!

Ecuador requires a test, which implies that they care, but I have known HIV positive foreigners working here on legal visas. Sorry I can't offer anything less confusing, but that's Ecuador. I'd probably give it a miss, unless you're really hung up on the Galapagos.
