here is the deal: I'm currently in Barcelona. I just finished my CELTA, and am looking for work. It is obviously not the best time to be looking for teaching work. Due to this I was thinking of getting out of the city in a few months if I can't get enough hours to make it worth it. The director of my CELTA training school mentioned Santander as a place where she personally knew I could get a job with a lot of support/"supplemental training" from the school. Not to mention that the cost of living is lower. So............
here is the question:
I was hoping someone on the forum could give me a scoop on what it is like to live there? My ultimate goal is to learn spanish, but in a fun place preferably by the ocean. Obviously BCN isn't ideal for castellano, but it really is one of a kind. |
