I said I was going to Changsha. Well, I'm glad I went there. Now I know I want to live somewhere else.
So, Shanghai Bangde College. Any veterans? Survivors?
I seeked on the Job Information Journal, but did not find. I noticed with interest that some people have cleverly LEFT THE NAME OF THEIR SCHOOL OUT OF THE TITLE OF THEIR POST, so that you can't identify whether or not it's your prospective employer without opening it.
Without clicking through, you can skim-read such enigmatic titles as "Bad School in Dalian."
Aha, so there is a bad school in Dalian - I'll remember that. I always thought there might be. Armed with this certainty, I can make sure I never end up working for them. Whoever they are. Next title...? Aha, Cheated in China.
Anyway... Shanghai Bangde College. Does it exist? Has anyone worked there? Perhaps someone will fess up to having written a job info journal on it, and left the name off the title. Anything vaguley relevant appreciated. |

| China's most famous never-heard of school. There was a VERY short thread on it not long ago. Cobra claims to know the FAO, but that's probably python doody. |

| This is very weird. I was testing a student today and he mentioned this college. I've never heard of it. The student told me that the school is terrible. Is in the north of Shanghai? If so, it's the same place as my student. |

I got that impression from the hustle. I also got the contract, with no dates, and a couple of other major gaffes. But can you expand, Cobra? What's your experience of this... this entity?
For me, it's gonna be a visa job. To be honest, I wouldn't write them off if they drove a yellow 3-wheeler and called themselves Trotters Independent Trading Company. Got to play to win. I've survived OK with agents so far. Got a 3-month 7-day break clause. For use only in emergency  . |
