It is rumored that there is a ferry directly from Busan, Korea to Hiroshima. I know there is one to Shiminoseki, but others have insisted there is one to Hiroshima. I can't find any info here in Korea regarding this.
Has anyone ridden this ferry?
Thanks for info! |
There is no direct ferry to Hiroshima from Busan, only to Shimonoseki and the high-speed hydrofoil to Hakata, in Fukuoka

I think there is a slow ferry from Osaka to Korea, but then Hiroshima is still quite a ways away. Your cheapest alternative is to go to Shiminoseki from Pusan and then catch a bus or train. |

My friend lives in Hiroshima and has taken that ferry a few times so it definitely exists despite what some tell you. As far as I know it is still running. Goes 3 times a week.
Try here
www.busanferry.co.kr/service?id=en_passenger_04
Try this telephone number in Hiroshima (082) 250-3339. I'd say it would be best to try in Japanese. |

I am pretty sure the ferry from Busan to HH is cancelled. That's what they told me at the Busan office anyway.
If anyone knows for sure otherwise, please tell me, as it would make things a lot easier for me |
