Wow, that's a blast from the past.Balans has this habit of rediscovering bands from the 80s. Last year FGTH came. I didn't go but I heard they were crap. apparently they were paid 10 K and played 5/6 songs.

It was ace actually, I think it's fantastic to be able to watch a classic band like the bunnymen in a small venue. The drinks ARE a bit pricey, but we had a couple of large ones in akdeniz beforehand.

Anyway, we've had Frankie, the bunnymen....
I'm waiting for OMD and the Teardrop Explodes.

or Gerry and The Pacemakers (that would be ace!)

How was it? Apparently everyone from the Bilgi Smoking Room went. I wasn't in the mood for standing for hours in a crowded, tobaccoey box so I bailed-- but am still curious.

They were ace, played loads of old tunes. I thin I was there with the Bilgi Smoking room.
