I TO I charge you 400 GBP for the service they do not take any cut of your wages otherwsie im avoid that company like fire. You get paid 2400 to 3600 per month and the accommodation is rent-free. Plus you get reimbursed flights and met at airprot/coach station and taken to accommdoation/school ect.

Just stating the facts of the service. Im only looking into I TO I because;

Their the only trusted company
Its just nice that i can book up literally a TEFL job 2 years literally before I turn up (can book in jan 2007 or anytime till 2009 sept)

i to i is a complete scam. You have no need to pay money to obtain work, especially not 'voluntary' work.

btw 25 hrs a week is more teaching hours than the majority of EFL teachers have.

Your chances are almost excellent.
You don't need to pay anyone to get a job. Pick a region, apply, and you'll be working in no time. Gain some experience, and you'll land a job at a good school where you are paid well enough to see some of Poland and perhaps some countries around it. Learn how to proofread first.

This is just my opinion. Warsaw is a good place to start. You can find a job easily enough and it's central to other places. Yes, it's more expensive than other parts of Poland, but it also offers more. Most of all, it has hundreds of places to work, and you'll earn lets say 4000 PLN a month. You'll pay 1500 for your flat, 1000 to eat in restaurants, 20 to get your hair cut, 8 for 0.5 L in a bar, 3 in a store, 20 for a movie(there are at least 5 malls with 15 screens showing all the latest films), and you'll end up with 1000 PLN. That is what a cashier makes a month. Get it? PM me when you're ready to make the plunge.

Profi-Lingua and JDJ employ teachers without TEFL qualifications.

SO does the OK! school. THere's plenty of places around that aren't bothered about certs.

And Pollux, are you mad? It was minus 16 when I got up on Thursday morning, and today it's somewhat more than "nippy."
Nearly killed myself on the ice on the way home too

Paul I think you've hijacked your own thread. Very Happy

Getting back to the title of this thread.

I do know that some Poles make 5zl an hour.

I can't imagine how much those girls make who stand in the aisles at Carrefour and push products.

I think someone told me 3zl an hour.

Does anyone know?

Well, the question was vague, and I didn't say wear a skirt. Have you thought of wearing crampons?
