Hi
I have to go to Copenhagen after xmas.
I'm English and don't speak danish. i have a masters in English.
I'll try and get any job but would like to teach, even if it was only for a few hours a week, at any level or be a teaching assistant.
I know it's difficult but has anyone got any leads on jobs in general, whether i can claim dole as an EU citizen any other benefits.
Tak |

EU regulations make previsions for international jobseekers.
If you are registered as unemployed then you can look for work in other EU countries and you can claim up to 3 months unemployment benefit in any other EU country.
There should be a person called something like "European Employment Officer" at a local job shop (or whatever they are calling themselves this week)
You are also, under certain situations, entitled to have travel expenses paid - I think if you have an interview arranged in the destination country.
More people should take advantage of the travel and employment opportunities offered within the EU.
Have fun ! |
