a man went to his cardiologist and exclaimed: "doc, i took your advice, and i'm so much happier!"

the doctor, puzzled, asked him what he meant.

the man said, "you told me to cheer up and find myself a red hot momma! so i did."

the doctor, in a panic, said: "oh, no, no! what i said was to be careful -- you have a heart murmur."

AND

an 80 year old lady was in court, charged with stealing food. the judge really hated to punish her because of her age, but theft is theft. so he asked her how many peaches she stole. she replied that it was 5 peaches. so the judge said he was going to sentence her to 1 day in jail for each peach.

just as the judge was bringing the gavel down, the old woman's husband jumped up and said, "Your Honor, she also stole a can of peas!"
