Can you please help me? A complete novice asks

If you just turned up in Shanghai with a lot of Englsh - TEFOL / tutoring Experience, some contacts and enough money and wanted to teach what would you do?

 Any useful suggestions gratefully accepted.

				| Get cheap accomodation (Youth Hostel?), get in touch with my contacts and start looking for a job.
Why not start now, using your contacts or Dave's Job board or one of the many others you can find via links or a google-search?

				| Get on line, check out Thatsshanghai small ads and other expat sites. If you can't find work within a day, ponder your decision to come to China.
Don't see SH as your only option BTW. There are 1000s of positions waiting to be filled.

				| There are dozens of jobs available for TESL experienced teachers with a 4 year degree or the TESL certificate in Shanghai and surrounding cities. Contact [email protected] (education manager Wuxi/Web) he has 2 job openings in Wuxi (just 1.5 hours west of Shanghai). You can start immediately, I think. | |
