Yall sound like Brits to me, but still, maybe you can help a brotha out. I need to watch March Madness this year and I'm wondering if anyone knows a bar around Taksim with a solid commitment to American sports - none of this asking the man to change the channel before sitting down for a beer.

Try the James Soyce. It's an excellent establishment.

(what's March Madness)?

If you have cable tv or digiturk you'll get NBA tv, so most bars will have the ability to show it. I think it is the timing of the games that sucks.

don't worry baba you're not missing anything, it's some US basketball college thingy.

That thread has reached epic proprotions. If I were new, I wouldn't want to wade through 80+ pages to learn about basketball games.

My recommendation? Start an new man-sports thread. You know, for the new guys....

(I'm not against the old thread, BTW...)

referencia, some of the guys hear are, well, uptight to put it midly when this type of discussion doesn't take place in a particular thread. Check out the Aussie rules thread and you'll see what I mean. Advice from one newbie to another. Smile

It's nice that the guys in the men's thread don't get upset when someone mentions applicators.

Maybe you could call the new thread 'Balls.'

I don't have hangups about sports per say and newbies don't need to wade through all the 80 pages ,just confine their questions to that area of the forum ,thats why it was put there and has grown into the monster that most men (apparently) know and love .
