No BK or Wendy's in Hiroshima. There is a Burger King on the base in Iwakuni so you'd have to make friendly with a Marine to get on.

There are plenty of good places to eat in Hiroshima though. I like God Burger and they do have a Subway (I think there may be two). Kembys and the Shack are pretty good.

easyasabc - I ate at California Chicken in Iwakuni at least twice a week for years. I love that place. In fact my desire to head down to Iwakuni May 5th is in part for Friendship Day on the base but mostly for California Chicken. lol.

Japanese food is so flippin lovely I don't know why you'd bother. Any Irish bar will probably do some decent sheperds pie.

Also if you're finding everything to consist of small portions then find a decent all you can eat shabu-shabu/sukiyaki restaurant and try not to eat yourself to death. Mo-Mo Paradise is a good one. Beeftastic.
